What happens to your information.
Short, because there is not much to tell. Calmforge Automation runs no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The only personal information collected is what you type into the contact form, plus the browser type and country it was sent from.
The contact form, and nothing else
When you send a message, the form records your name, your email address, the company size you picked, and what you wrote. It also records the type of browser and the country the request came from, which we use only to spot spam.
The message is saved first, in a database we run with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. A copy is then emailed to a Calmforge mailbox, through an email delivery service, so that we know it arrived. We save it first so that a message cannot be lost if the email fails. Messages are used to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. They are never sold, rented or shared for marketing.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no visitor tracking of any kind on this site.
- No cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser to identify you or follow you between visits.
- Server logs. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, as part of running it securely.
- Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Nothing else is sent, and no account is required.
Ask and it goes
A contact-form message is kept for 12 months after the last message we receive from you, and then deleted. The copy that reaches our mailbox is ordinary email and stays until we or you delete it. If you would like a copy of what is held about you, a correction, or deletion, write to the address below and say so plainly. No particular form of words is needed. Asking for deletion covers the saved copy and the email.
Depending on where you live, you may have a statutory right to access, correct, delete or port your information, and to object to its use. Those rights are honored regardless of where you live.
